GARDEN PLOT INFORMATION
The following is a list of procedures for assigning garden plots. Natural Resources is responsible ONLY for the assignment of the plots.
- Make sure you have read the information/guideline sheet
- Be familiar with the “Garden Plot” book and map
- Know the location of the garden plots
- All the garden plots will be assigned in person only
- We must see an ID to verify status prior to plot assignment
During the initial assignments, used the following dates:
- Week #1 – Week #3
- 27 January – 14 February 2025: any users wanting to reserve a plot who are not on the list for failure to clear may reserve one plot
- Week #4
- 17 – 21 February 2025: any user from the “failure to clear list” may reserve a plot
ALL PERSONS ASSIGNED A GARDEN PLOT WILL READ AND SIGN A RESPONSIBILITY FORM. (We keep the original, you get a copy)
Plots will be assigned in the Sponsor’s name if a dependent comes in to sign up.
- After 24 February 2025, if all plots have not been assigned, the user may be assigned one additional plot (maximum of 2). See below on tracking second plot (Para 5)
- If a gardener has not worked their plot by 1 May, the plot may be re-assigned.
- If a gardener is a assigned a second plot, make note of the second plot number to the left of their original plot number both in the book and on our copy of the original “Responsibilities” sheet.
- All plots MUST BE CLEARED by 1 November
